ELDERCARE LOCATOR DATABASE
The Eldercare Locator is a computerized database service provided by the
Administration on Aging (AOA) through its National Aging Information
Center (NAIC) and the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging (NAAAA).
The Eldercare Locator is a way to search for organizations
that provide services to the elderly.
What information is in the Eldercare Locator database?
The database contains records of organizations that provide services to
the elderly. For each organization, the following information is
maintained:
- Contact Information: Names, addresses, and phone numbers to
use to reach the organization, and information about operating hours.
- Location in Which Services Are Offered: The geographic area in
which the organization provides services.
- Types of Services Offered: Information about the types of
services each organization offers.
How do I search the Eldercare Locator database?
You can retrieve information from the Eldercare Locator database by specifying
the zip code in which services are desired.
